Put approved routes into use.
Import your NHVR-approved routes, create and save journey plans, and give drivers guidance they can follow in the cab.
For enterprise transport operations
Give drivers usable journey plans and a consistent way to check the route for their vehicle. Bring approved routes and turn-by-turn guidance into your transport safety process, with supported testing to establish what works and what a wider rollout would need.
For Australian safety, transport and operations leaders managing their own trucks, contracted transport or both.

From approval to the cab
An approved route needs to reach the driver, suit the vehicle and be understood before departure. Test how that handover works across your team, and where questions or delays arise.
Import your NHVR-approved routes, create and save journey plans, and give drivers guidance they can follow in the cab.
Review access conditions and known bridge clearances for the selected vehicle. Agree what needs an official-source check and who resolves an uncertainty.
Work with an agreed group of employed or contracted drivers to see how route instructions are received, checked and used.

Available today
PadRoute is available on iPhone and Android. Its current Pro workflow supports route imports, saved plans and navigation on individual phones. Drivers receive links or files through your existing channels, then import and review the route in the app.
Fleet management, a shared dashboard and fleet-wide oversight and reporting are scoped, quoted and developed on an individual basis.

Meet the team

Start with a conversation
Show us one route, the vehicle using it and the problem you want to solve. In a free 20 to 30 minute session, we demonstrate the relevant workflow and establish whether paid work could help.
Multi-route analysis, structured deployment and operational testing are paid. We agree the scope and fee before that work starts.
A clear scope. An informed decision.
Each engagement uses PadRoute’s working heavy vehicle route planning app. You pay for structured setup, onboarding and evaluation of an agreed operational need. We help establish the protocol and evidence your team needs to decide whether and how to proceed.
2 weeks | A$15,000 + GST
Find out where the route-planning process works for your team, what needs attention and whether a wider pilot is worth funding.
For 5 to 10 users across 10 to 20 routes. Includes installation and vehicle setup, onboarding, a route-specific protocol, weekly measurement and interviews.
You finish with a validated use case, pilot scope and budget case, plus a recommendation to stop, proceed to a pilot or move to an annual agreement.
8 to 10 weeks | Paid engagement, scoped and quoted
Assess driver use, route handover and operational effort in one defined part of your business.
For 10 to 25 users in one depot, region or account. Includes deployment of the existing app, an agreed set of routes, a protocol for handling exceptions, support, agreed pilot records and weekly steering meetings. Integration is outside this package.
You finish with a decision to deploy, extend or stop. An annual licence and implementation proposal is issued before the pilot closes.
8 to 14 weeks | One agreed capability, scoped and quoted
Develop and test one additional capability against a specific operational need, through a paid engagement.
Combines the existing app with one agreed, funded capability, tested with a live group of users. Examples for development include shared fleet administration, exportable route-check records or change-impact monitoring. These are development options, not features available today.
You finish with a validated capability and a procurement decision. Each stage has its own invoice and a stop/go decision.
Fees exclude GST. Before work starts, your proposal confirms scope, licence arrangements, included services and any extra charges. It also explains how ongoing use would be priced.
Discuss your routesMeasure what matters
Agree the decision criteria and baseline before work starts. Measures might include route preparation time, driver use, handover questions and how exceptions are resolved. Specify who checks official sources, who handles uncertainties and what records they keep.
Agreed pilot records can include setup and onboarding records, route-review observations, an exception log and driver interview findings. These are collected through the engagement protocol. Automated fleet reporting is not available today.
PadRoute supports the route-planning and driver-guidance part of your journey management process. In a paid engagement, we test how it fits your existing responsibilities and procedures, including route review, handover and escalation.
The Operational Pilot uses the current app without integration. Raise mandatory system, security and reporting requirements in the first conversation so we can confirm current fit and identify any separately scoped development.
Let’s look at your route
Tell us where route planning or driver handover is getting difficult. We will arrange a free 20 to 30 minute session on one route, then discuss scope and indicative fees if paid work could help.

Road-access checks use available NHVR data for ACT, NSW, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria. Stops and facilities are available across Australia. We check route and vehicle coverage when qualifying the engagement.
PadRoute does not replace permits, official maps, roadside signs or driver judgement. Importing a route does not create an access approval. PadRoute is independent and is not endorsed by the NHVR.
