Where PadRoute checks road access

Find stops and facilities across Australia, including rest areas, service stations, truck parking and public weighbridges. Road access checks use available NHVR data for the ACT, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria. What is available still depends on the source and location.

What happens if I lose mobile coverage?

Free prepares 10 km ahead; Pro extends that to up to 150 km. While you have reception, PadRoute downloads maps and road-access data ahead of your vehicle. What is already downloaded stays available if reception drops, and the app tops it up when you reconnect. This prepares the route ahead; it does not let you plan a new route or receive fresh driver reports without a connection.

Can I bring a shared route into PadRoute?

Yes. PadRoute Pro can import shared NHVR routes and GPX, KML or GeoJSON route files. Review the imported run against your selected vehicle, then follow it with turn-by-turn guidance while the app is open.

What do Pro notifications tell me?

Follow a regular route or stop to receive notifications when new road or stop reports appear, including when PadRoute is closed. These are driver reports, not an official feed of road-access or permit changes.
